Bakugan Battle Brawlers, Japanese Anime
Posted by ToysCentral.net in Bakugan on September 17th, 2008
One day, cards began to fall from the sky and were picked up by kids all over the world. The cards featured different characters, different environments, and different powers. Kids created a popular battle game not knowing that these cards actually corresponded to an alternate world called Vestroia. Kids from all over the world played with the cards, yet 6 kids stood out: Dan, Marucho, Runo, Shun, Julie and Alice. They named the monsters “Bakugans” and their elite team the “Bakugan Battle Brawlers”.

Product Description
Bring out the performer in your little one with the Fisher Price Little Superstar Sing-Along Stage. Your child will enjoy grooving to fun songs with the “magical” microphone and pretend musical instruments. Designed for children ages six months and older, this toy provides several developmental benefits, such as encouraging motor skill development and problem-solving skills, and provides visual and auditory stimulation.

From 6 months of age and up the stage is just the right height to sit and play

Each mode offers just enough difficulty for your little one to be challenged and have fun at the same time
Flashing Lights and Fun Music
The Sing-Along Stage features five fun songs for you and your baby to sing along with. It’s easy and fun for your baby to play with: Just shake the “magical” microphone to start the music! While the music plays, your child will delight in the four dancing spotlights, the pop-up audience of friendly smiling fans, and the big picture mirror to watch him or herself groove. Four musical instruments sit along the bottom of the stage: Baby just presses the horn, the xylophone, the drum, or the guitar to hear them play. You and your child will have great fun singing and dancing together with all of the songs!
Different Stages to Grow with Baby
The Sing-Along Stage includes two levels of advancement for babies and toddlers. Each mode offers just enough difficulty for your little one to be challenged and have fun at the same time. For babies from 6 months of age, the stage is just the right height to sit and play. He or she can discover how to shake the microphone to make a song play! Your baby can also learn how to press each musical instrument to hear it play a solo, learning to differentiate between the different sounds. Musical lyrics are provided for you to sing along with the songs, providing quality interactive time with your baby. As your child gets older, he or she can stand, dance, and groove with the magical microphone while the music plays. In this more advanced secondary mode, the toy allows your child to get creative with the music. Start the song by pressing the button. Shake the microphone to add voice. Press each instrument to add their sounds to the song. This toy requires three AA batteries, which are included in the package. Adult assembly is necessary and requires a Phillips screwdriver (not included).

My daughter's favorite toy
My daughter lights up every time we put her in front of this thing. The greatest joy she gets is in seeing her own reflection which isn't necessarily due to this toy, but the height works well. My daughter is approaching eight months and has thoroughly enjoyed the 2 months she's had access to this toy. While she bangs on the drum and keyboard buttons and occasionally spins the guitar roller, she's never been a fan of pressing the lever for the saxophone -- maybe because it's a little more difficult to manipulate in comparison to the other instruments.
Although I'm convinced she still doesn't really have any idea what it's for, my daughter always reaches for the microphone now. It rattles, it's something to hold and of course, it goes straight to the mouth like most things during this phase.
There's nothing particularly fancy about this toy. It was given to us as a gift and, for the price, I may not have purchased it on my own, but since it keeps my girl entertained for about 15-20 minutes at a time, I'd say it's well worth it. We use it every few days or so so that nobody gets burnt out on it.
As for the construction, it's very sturdy, though admittedly, the screws can be a pain to put in. Otherwise, it's a pretty quick setup compared to most of the other baby products we've purchased (swings, bouncers, high chairs, etc).
While the music does get a little old, you'll still find yourself walking around the house singing the tunes aloud. I still haven't figured out exactly why my daughter squeals with excitement when she sees us put this in front of her, but I can't complain -- it keeps her occupied, she's genuinely having fun using it and the lights are a minimal distraction which probably promotes her curiosity and willingness to explore the toy in its entirety more than anything else.
I'd definitely recommend this, but I wish it were more in the price range.
Another great toy, although equally expensive is the peek-a-blocks alphabet block set.
I didn't expect those to be as expensive, but she certainly loves them almost as much.

One of the best baby toys out there!!
I would have never guessed this toy would be such a hit with my baby! (and my 2 year old likes it, too.) We've had it since she was about 6 months old. She is now almost a year and still spends time playing with it several times a day, every day (and she has lots of things to choose from!). Just today, she was sitting in front of it, looking at herself in the mirror and laughing. She can pull herself to standing on it without it tipping over. The songs and music are catchy and fun and she just loves to bang on the piano keys (which are connected as one big piece), the drum, and spin the ball on the guitar. The older kids sometimes play with the microphone, but other than that, it doesn't get used much (if at all) by baby. I love that it has an on/off switch and volume control. If I could add one thing to it, it would be a molded plastic little pouch or pocket on the back to store the song cards in. You don't really need them, but it would be nice if they had a "home". Also, the mirror isn't that great of quality. The kids don't seem to mind, but I would love it all the more if it had a better quality mirror. All in all, though, this toy is totally worth having! I'm so glad we purchased it for our little one!

My son LOVES it! Worth every penny
We have had this since my son was 4 mo old, and he LOVES this toy. At 4 mo old I would put him in his bumbo and set this in front of him and he would have the best time and sit and smile at it. He is now 7 mo old and although i can't just sit him in the Bumbo anymore and expect him to stay, he will still sit in his Bumbo supervised and plays with this toy, he still loves it! One of the best investments for him to date! Highly recommend it!

Great Toy For Independent Sitters
My 9 month old daughter loves this toy. She talks to herself in the mirror and loves the microphone and all of the buttons and music. It is very upbeat and one of the better toys I have purchased for her.
Their are 2 downsides. One is that if the baby pulls on it it can tip over. The second is that the music plays continually and does not go off on it's own when it is not in use.
Other then that I would never trade this toy in. She adores it.

Worth every penny!
This toy was bought for my Granddaughter when she was 6 months old. She wasn't sitting up for a long period of time so we ignored the legs and just leaned the mirror against the side of the crib. The toy was an instant favorite! Once she was able to sit up we attached the legs and now she's loving the music and lights. Her face just lights up when ever she presses the buttons! This toy is a must have! The songs are cute and don't get old ((unlike some other toys we have)) and you can change the instrument that's playing the song. I.E. if the wiggle song is playing, you can press the drum and the drum is playing the tune, the piano and then the piano is playing the song, so on and so forth. If you have the chance, purchase this toy!!!

You can attach the table’s legs to adjust it to accommodate toddlers’ play while standing. And it offers plenty of activities at different levels of learning to keep your child entertained for these early developmental years. Your child will delight in spinning the maraca to hear a fun rendition of the ABC song; playing the colored piano keys to practice motor skills and learn about colors; moving the trombone’s slide to count to 10; and sliding the cello to learn about up and down. Kids can tap on the colorful drum and learn about colors and primary shapes, too. Then, by flipping the pages of the “book” to go from the Learning Mode to the Music Mode, kids can hear more than 40 songs and melodies, including nursery rhymes and fun individual instrument sounds that will have them singing and dancing.
Plenty to Do, Lots to Learn

8 month old loves it!
I've read the other reviews, and yes, the table can tip over if you're not too careful. I just treat it as something my daughter needs to be supervised while playing with. She loves it! She loves the songs, loves the lights, loves when I sing along with it. She is 8 months and can hold herself up against it, but I stay close she doesn't come falling down table in all. It's worth it.

Fun Toy
Daughter really loves this. Havne't attached legs yet but will once she starts standing full time. She loves playing with all the different toys on it. It keeps her entertained for a while. I did have troubles with my first one - it just would not work. But Amazon replaced it for us and the 2nd one works great.

The legs are not detachable
Don't be fooled! You can use this on the floor or up on its legs. But once you put the legs on they do not come off. I contacted LeapFrog and they said they are modifying the packaging to indicate this. I had planned to return it but with the legs on it would require a large box and was just more of a hassle than I bargained for. So I kept it but was sorely disappointed. Had I known this I would have bought something else, or at least waited until my grandbaby was able to stand before I put the legs on. Either way, I can't remove them. A search of the net resulted in some directions on how to remove the legs but I felt like I was going to break them.

She never plays with it
It seems like a great toy, and it is very durable, but my daughter wants nothing to do with it. It has just sat in the play room since she was 1 year old.

It gets used everyday
This table has less annoying music than many, and my 11 month old daughter goes over to it at least once an hour and pushes buttons to make music. Two and 3 year old children seem fascinated with this also, and the ability to take the legs off and use a a toy for little crawlers make me glad that in a our low-toy household, we have this toy. We bought it used and find it in great shape.
